Portal counts of participating colleges and total seats vary widely between sources, so we do not publish a number — the official KEA seat matrix, released each cycle before option entry, is the only reliable list.
College-wise cutoff ranks also vary significantly by year and category; treat any portal's cutoff table as indicative at best.
Rough merit picture (indicative, previous cycles)
50% is the qualifying bar for General category; a score around 75+ is typically reported as very good, and ranks inside roughly the top 5,000 have typically secured merit seats. These are portal-reported figures, not KEA guarantees — they shift every year.
